I'll stamp all over 'serious combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
