Football Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Boosts Incentive for Lost Canine in Mexican Territory to £15k

Wales athlete Aaron Ramsey has increased the bounty for information regarding his missing canine Halo to $20,000.

Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who currently plays for Pumas UNAM in the capital, stated that Halo was spotted in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato region.

the dog, who vanished on October 9th, was equipped with a GPS collar, and Ramsey posted a Google maps location of the spot she vanished from.

"Any sort of information concerning our Halo please get in touch with us. Significant bounty for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she's ok and will return with us shortly," the athlete shared on Instagram.

Earlier Bounty and Heartfelt Appeals

The footballer initially disclosed that Halo had gone missing 14 days prior and has since uploaded several images of the beloved pet on Instagram.

A £7.5k incentive was originally provided, but with lack of updates on Halo's location after a seven days, Ramsey and his family increased the sum.

"Our only wish is our pet back," he said in another plea on social media after the 10-year-old dog disappeared.

A recent photograph share is a black and white image of the beagle snoozing, its head lying in the curve of Ramsey's arm, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to hold you again sweet Halo."

Family's Worries and Context

The footballer has additionally shared a message from his wife Colleen on online channels indicating they have a few "serious concerns" regarding the disappearance and are concerned the family "may never obtain clarity".

"To this day we haven't found Halo. It is unlikely we will ever," the spouse's update expressed.

The Welsh skipper joined Mexican first division team Club Universidad Nacional earlier this year and made his inaugural match in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
